A marketing graduate from John Molson School of business from 2008, Lana fell into recruitment and HR and never looked away. Lana has worked in various industries including : manufacturing, distribution, software, business intelligence, Education, and IT among others. Lana’s positions have all had a « special project» element to them : creating a new talent acquisition department, creating processes and recruiting for volume roles while focusing on reducing time to fill.
Setting things up has been a big focus of Lana’s career : problem solving for a better experience and process. She always knew she would follow in her parent’s footsteps and become an entrepreneur. All was missing was the idea. In 2020, Aukazi became THE idea, it was time to take the plunge.
