HR TECH Montreal’s Opening keynote speech: "Technological singularity: from fear to future potential"

Abstract: The dawn of AI has seen an emergence of two outlooks, one where it is considered a threat, and the other where it is considered an opportunity for our society. AI begs the question: what is the difference between an intelligent machine and a human? What makes us different from machines? The day machines will be everywhere, what shall we embody, express? What will bind us together on an individual and collective level, within the greater social context? We must address these issues today by utilizing AI to its best advantage.
